This online training course is designed for ADA complementary paratransit managers who are new to the field. Content highlights the history of the the disability movement, paratransit eligibility, human resources management, key considerations in paratransit operations, and the basics in financial management that all paratransit managers need to know.

While this is an online course, there is an opportunity to share experiences, ideas and knowledge with colleagues. The course contains readings, activities, and online interaction. The format is flexible enough to allow busy professionals to log in and work at any hour of the day or night. Learners will be expected to participate in approximately 12 concentrated hours on activities over the span of the course.

Learners will complete four modules consisting of readings, videos, audio recordings, activities, forum entries, and quizzes, and participate in in-depth homework activities. A total of 12 hours are required of each learner.
