Mobility Management Certification Program
Easterseals Project Action (ESPA) offers a comprehensive certification program for mobility management professionals, at all experience levels, with a Certified Mobility Manager (CMM) credential. All courses are provided virtually, taken at your own pace, and must be completed within 2 years of initial registration. All coursework and credit hours must be completed through an online learning portal, which is monitored by ESPA Staff. The program requires a total of 60 credit hours, which can be achieved by completing the required foundation courses, any approved electives hosted by another agency (trainings, courses, webinars or conferences, etc.), and a final project.
Who should complete this certification program? Mobility Managers, marketing and outreach professionals, travel trainers, transportation professionals, or anyone interested in improving access to transportation and enhancing the customer experience.
Program Overview
Completion of the Easterseals Project Action Certified Mobility Manager Program will deepen your understanding, strengthen community impact and maximize the effectiveness of your mobility management program. In this course, you will learn about the complexities of mobility management and the unique way it can support both transportation programs and human services providers in your service area. Each course has been designed by experts in the mobility field and built specifically for new and existing mobility management programs.
The required Foundations Courses were developed using real-life perspectives that can be immediately put into practice and applied to urban and rural areas across the country. Mobility Managers will be provided with quality trainings in the following areas:
- Foundations of Mobility Management
- Essentials of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
- Understanding Transportation
- Reasonable Modification to the ADA
- Funding, Data Collection & Grant Writing
After completion of this certification program, mobility managers will be able to make informed decisions on mobility-related projects, effectively problem solve, and approach a variety of situations with confidence and in a professional manner.
