1. Empowering Mobility Managers to Lead

There are many core competencies that Mobility Managers must possess. To effect the kind of action that needs to occur within a community for systems-level change, Mobility Managers need to be able to effectively engage stakeholders, coordinate their efforts across sectors, process complex information and be able to explain it simply, engage in advocacy efforts, and understand how to align mobility management with other efforts to increase efficiency. In this webinar, we’ll explore strategies to empower mobility managers to position themselves as leaders and mobility experts in their communities.

2. Recruiting, Retaining, and Managing Volunteer Drivers

This webinar is designed to help organizations improve their volunteer driver recruitment and retention strategies. We will discuss effective methods for recruiting and retaining volunteer drivers, including how to reach potential volunteers and how to keep them engaged in the program. 4. Developing an Evaluation Plan

This course will teach you how to develop an evaluation plan for your projects. You will learn how to identify goals and objectives, select appropriate evaluation methods, and create a plan that will help you measure progress and success. We will cover different types of evaluation, such as formative, summative, and process evaluation. Additionally, you will learn how to communicate your evaluation results effectively to stakeholders and use them to improve your projects.

5. Planning for Program Sustainability

This webinar will teach participants how to develop a sustainability plan for their organization and/or programs. Topics covered will include identifying environmental and social impacts, setting sustainability goals, creating action plans, and tracking progress. We will also discuss best practices for engaging stakeholders and communicating sustainability efforts to customers and other stakeholders. 7. Principles of Effective Leadership

In our day-to day work life, we often become so bogged down with tasks and details that we do not have time to put more leadership into our work styles.  As a public transit staff member, your life is hectic, your time is valuable, you are often overloaded and may sometimes feel like you are barely “hanging on.” This situation often denies you the opportunity to lead. Leadership is often the missing ingredient to greater productivity, not more work! While often we look to our managers as our leaders, everyone has the ability to lead others.  This workshop contains the essentials for effective leadership, identifies traits every leader should develop, and shows the impact leadership can have on your life and those you lead.

8. ADA Paratransit Eligibility Applications and More!

Are you looking to learn more about ADA Paratransit Eligibility and ensuring your applications are developed to provide you all the information you need as a part of your eligibility program to make accurate eligibility determinations.  Learn about how the application fits within a determination process, the appropriate questions to and not to include in an application, and other considerations.

9. Writing Successful Grant Proposals-Part 1 (if you select this training, you must also select part 2)

Join us as we discuss the basics of grant writing and how to craft compelling proposals. This session will cover topics such as grant writing basics and terminology, steps to writing successful grant proposals, common grant proposal sections, and what to know before writing a grant proposal.

10. Writing Successful Grant Proposals-Part 2 (if you select this training, you must also select part 1)

In the second part of this series, we will cover what to know when writing a grant proposal, submitting a proposal on a tight deadline, proposal decision process, grant writing tips, grant writing don’ts, common reasons grants are declined, other grant writing considerations, and what to know after submitting a grant proposal.

11. How Passengers with Disabilities Travel Independently

This online course is designed to educate individuals on the use of service animals in public transit. Participants will learn about the laws and regulations that govern service animal access, as well as the different types of service animals and their specific functions. The course will cover topics such as proper behavior and etiquette for service animals and their handlers, as well as the responsibilities of transit providers and passengers.

12. Effective Communication and Disability Etiquette

This online course on disability etiquette aims to educate individuals on appropriate behavior and communication with people with disabilities. The course covers various topics such as understanding disability, language usage, body language, accessibility, and laws and policies related to accessibility and disability.

13. Difficult Decisions: Policies vs. Practice

Take this class to gain essential tools and strategies that will help you make complex decisions when it comes to applying policies to practice. We will delve into various decision-making frameworks and examine how to evaluate the ethical implications of different choices.

14. Marketing Your Transit Program

Current riders, family members or even future riders, visit your website and social media platforms for service information before even calling to schedule a ride. This is why it is so important to maintain your front-facing web materials and social media to clearly communicate the services being provided and easily understood – and if the information presented is difficult to understand, those riders could choose not to ride your bus. This Express Workshop will get you started on the right path to communicating and presenting the services offered. The presenter will offer industry insights and showcase the tools available for transit agencies.

15. Employee Engagement

For most transit systems, customer interaction begins with the driver, dispatcher or even through social media; are your employees ready? This workshop will discover ways to boost employee engagement that will ultimately reflect positively onto the customer. Using techniques to identify existing supports already in place within your agency, attendees will become aware of their workplace behaviors, build upon strengths, and develop long range outcomes for improved performance.  

16. Succession Planning

This web-based training on succession planning is designed to equip individuals with the knowledge and skills required to effectively plan for the future of their organization. 17. Conducting Effective Performance Evaluations

This course focuses on helping Managers or Supervisors to navigate the complexities of performing evaluations and reviews.  Participants will learn about the importance of regular or ongoing performance evaluations, as well as tips for conducting effective performance reviews. By the end of this course, you will have a better understanding why implementing these strategies can help to build a successful team.

19. ADA Reasonable Modification

This webinar is designed to provide transportation professionals with an understanding of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the reasonable modification requirements for public transit services.  Participants can expect to come away from this training with a tools to ensure compliance with the ADA and provide equitable access to public transportation services for individuals with disabilities.
